The Custom Browser Project
This project assignment is to create a custom (semi) browser. That is, a browser of your own design that sits on top of an existing browser (you can choose either Netscape or IE)
Like Mark Dagget's Browser Gestures Project and others, you should consider how your project might reinterpret what a browser is. How can your browser reinterpret how browsers normally display and navigate information for the user?
For example: you might use your browser to abstract the information that is to be displayed like Dagget's and Andy Deck's browser projects. Or, your browser might require the user to sift through layers of previous pages that have accrued since the browser was opened. Since you will be programming this yourself in Javascript, the sky is the limit to what is possible.
